Eli was born as the second child of the widely praised local politician Jacqueline Baciu. When they were still kids, Eli and their sibling Rory had to raise their terrible half-sibling, Frankie, “the fatherless”.

Eli is a brilliant artist who is always inspired and, honestly, stubborn. Their dream is to change the world with the lens of their camera and show the terrible conditions of the poorest. To unleash their true potential, they fled with Rowan La Rosa and took a chance in Jamrock as a reporter. There, they eked out some success and even a modicum of recognition, but now they are both back home. Is it because they needed to come back, or was it a choice? Is their next controversial piece going to be about La Cage?

Polyamorous Paranormal Pursuers

The Polyamorous Paranormal Pursuers (3P) are a group of more than friends who are about one thing, and one thing only - to enable their psychic abilities. They do this by expanding their minds to the endless possibilities of human connection. Through polyamory… and love. But also science – yes, definitely science.
3P is about more things than they have members, which creates a colorful tapestry of emotions, relationships, and all the drama that comes with it. Their original goal is to research psychic abilities - they test out different relationship couplings and styles, all while writing it down on a clipboard (otherwise it's not science!).

However - Humans are not guinea pigs and have emotions, hence the true science has become more of a shiny veneer of gloss on a chaotic mess of entangled relationships.

Apartment Block A

Everybody who lives in La Cage is mostly poor and desperate. The families and professionals living in Apartment Blocks are the ones who really try to keep some semblance of normality in their lives. The Block A is the wealthier one - it consists of people that are sure to have food even next week but are not entirely sure if they can get medical care in times of need. All while enjoying the luxury of reliable electricity and mostly repaired windows. The people living here have at least some "power" due to their jobs, but almost everybody is afraid that their little slice of paradise will be taken from them by relocation to a different flat.
