Marie spent their childhood in La Cage - and even though they were one of the most popular kids on the block, they left La Cage at their first chance. They went through college, built a career, and now they are coming back to the neighbourhood with an unquestionable loyalty to Moralintern, a single mission, and a gun in their hand.

But new life can't paint over a history of close friendships, bad parenting, and a prank gone horribly wrong. Their mission will considerably more complicated because of their worst enemy: Past Marie.

Born outside of La Cage but raised, nurtured and schooled right in the old hospital, Jo is a young person, but their ambitions are sky-high, mostly thanks to the high standards Tony, their parent, set upon them. Being the kid of the local teacher has not always been easy, but what is even worse, Tony is a very active person and has always had high expectations from Jo. Some would even say that Jo always competed with the standard set by Marie Pelletier, who made it out of La Cage and into the Moralintern administration. To add insult to injury, Marie regularly writes to Tony, who raised them, about their accomplishment, and JO JUST HATES IT.
So, yeah, Jo has some issues. But they also have their life ahead of them; they have a loving partner, perform as a DJ at a local club, work on a small, secret passion project, and everything will turn out fine in the end, right?

Not only are their ancestors known for helping build the Revacholian Empire, but one of them was also the local legendary hero who saved King Frissel from a horrible Mazovian ambush. The fact that such a luminous, talented person decided to stay in La Cage only shows their local patriotism.
Together with their spouse Addison, Paris promised to put the noble and deserving ones back to the top of the society where they belong, to protect the honest, hard-working people of La Cage and, of course, to eliminate the immoral parasites. Even though the Mazovians disappeared, their ideas are still a threat. The same goes for the Globalists, who want to sell Revachol to foreign powers for their own benefit. All these traitors must be vanquished, and Paris dedicates all their resources and intelligence to that end.
Paris practically adopted one of their neighbours, Frankie Baciu, hoping that this hopeful teenager would have a positive influence on Joan, their heir, who was born frail and shy. Within the von Bergen family, however, Frankie came out of their rude bully shell and turned out to be surprisingly smart and bold.
Paris is an aristocratic Suzerainist leader and a political person through and through. Even if some people claim being a political leader is not a real job.

Rory is the firstborn of the popular local politician Jacqueline Baciu. While they were still kids, Rory and their sibling Eli had to raise their terrible half-sibling, Frankie.
Rory has always tried to make their mother proud, and they have always been successful in everything they took on. Thanks to the global market, nothing is impossible if you commit and work hard.
Now that Frankie has become some local Suzerainist leader's protégé and Eli has left to chase their dream in Jamrock, Rory has been feeling the weight of being the reasonable one on their shoulders even more.
With unwavering determination, Rory was promoted at a very young age as a sweatshop owner’s right hand person. It is a lot of work and pressure of course, but one day they could rise to the top and become the boss. And from there, accomplish what their mother started and change the destiny of the neighborhood. The thing is - Rory knows they can lead and they should change stuff for the better. They just did not have time to think about HOW they should do that.

Fifteen years ago, they used to be the odd kid. The one picked on by both youth clubs, despised by their own family. Then, in one spectacular moment, they were humiliated and disfigured - and because of all the tar and feathers, they got the nickname Swan. They retreated to live with the outcasts in the Sewers. When they came back, they came back with the new Union Office leadership. And with their imposing figure, quick instincts and sheer malice, they have started to take their revenge. Slowly, methodically. The final reckoning is coming. (Like the whole gang, Swan will leave the game one way or another at the end of chapter 1)

Nero was just one of the kids in La Cage years and years ago, one of the founding members of the Bearded Vulture Club. They made their dreams come true and actually built and kept a music club that lives under their leadership to this day. They combine a passion for music and an artistic flame with a down-to-earth understanding of what people actually like. And most importantly, massive amounts of grind. Nero works on the budgets, Nero does the posters, Nero spins the records, Nero makes the deals, and when needed, Nero sweeps the floors.
The thing is, this lifestyle is DRAINING Nero. They are overstressed and overworked, using nearly all the substances known to La Cage to stay moving. Despite their incredible commitment, people are not entirely happy; the youngsters are complaining about the *boring old mainstream disco*, and no matter what Nero does, they can't satisfy everyone. Nevertheless, they WILL put on the show of a lifetime. And then they will see if the people are finally pleased.

Member of Precinct 23. The former golden kid from a well-off family, Jewel used to be a Lieutenant, too, as a partner of Rex Poe. Jewel was actually the first one to get the promotion, meaning that Rex was promoted as a “satellite officer” alongside Jeweln. But then, drugs did them in. It is, of course, legal to buy and use drugs in Revachol; however, nobody should be high on psychedelics on the job. Somebody tipped the Ethics unit, they did a blood test, and then Jewel was demoted and reassigned into the Counter-Truancy Task Force, aka the “skip squad”. Junior delinquency, a massive mark of shame.
Now they have a chance to come back. This mission is a test for them: the rest of the squad should “rate their performance” to decide if their punishment layoff into the “skip squad” should end or be extended.
For all this, Jewel is boiling inside. They still have issues with the rest of the precinct, but their work with the juvenile youth has convinced them that sometimes there really is a need for strong-armed solutions. And at the same time… maybe Jewel does not want to leave because, with the young ones, there are so many bright moments. Jewel will do what they always do when stressed - find their truth in aggressive street paintings.
