Member of Precinct 44. Just a few months ago, Kazimierz was still a student at one of Revachol´s universities, and technically, they still are. They even lived in a shared student flat in La Cage! At one meeting with fellow students where they promised not to get political and got VERY POLITICAL, they got into a long drunken political argument with Valrien Marwick. The argument ended with Kazimierz joining the RCM to show they could change it from within.
The scary thing is that Kazimierz was not only accepted but also, after just a few months, promoted and is now one of the two Lieutenant “Hyenas” sent to La Cage. Some would say that this skyrocketing career is mostly because their precinct needed at least somebody who is not totally corrupt to hold a higher rank, but Kazimierz seems to be managing in their job. Especially due to lots of help from their partner, Alvi Gunna.
Kazimierz is young, idealistic and nerdy to the bone. The question is - do they still need to prove something to Valrien and their other old flatmates? Are they really going to be able to change the system from within?

Member of Precinct 44. Co-lieutenant Iskra Marko is the archetypal hothead with a heart of gold. They are quick to anger, often jump straight into a fistfight, and are as popular with common people as they are hated by judges, politicians, or…other policemen. They have been promoted and demoted many times over, and they are still on the streets, alive and kicking.
Iskra is 100% all of that; they are not faking anything. But they are also a person with connections, someone who is known in certain circles to be able to help with many problems, who knows how to spend egregious amounts of money partying and how to make that money. Because there is no way that RCM pay would cover that shirt, shades, and custom-made pistol grip.

Member of Precinct 44. Iskra's partner is not only a cop coming from a long line of cops, but also a person of culture. After battling addictions and toxic relationships for quite some time, they managed to come through thanks to art (collages), the grace of Dolores Dei and practising stick fighting. Adonis is also designated as a recruiting officer and has the power to hire somebody for RCM: in dire straits, even in the field, they just strap uniforms, badges, and guns on them, and it is done. Adonis is not only grappling with their past and complicated morals, but they are also responsible for finding new recruits and are knee-deep in problems right now. They vouched for some of their colleagues - and since somebody will quite probably screw up, there will be consequences, and the consequences have ADONIS written all over them. And to top that off, Adonis' destructive love interest is living in La Cage.

Member of Precinct 44. Alvi is as local as they come: even a member of the wide and reputable La Rosa family. They are a steady, reliable person, just trying to do their job, even if lots of their former friends and people in their scene do not approve of Alvi´s job. They are both a cop and a music fan, even writing their own lyrics on everyday life - and trying to publish a story or two.
Alvi has already declined a promotion twice because it all happened too quickly, and they are afraid of taking on more responsibility. Their friends and family in La Cage keep putting them down and telling them they are not enough - and that by being a higher-ranking officer, they would betray their key values. And Alvi cares for all that. Their greatest fear is that their loved ones will be hurt because of them or even by them.
The trouble is: things are going to come crashing down, and all their darkest fears might just come to pass.

Member of Precinct 44. Wace is the new new person on the squad, even greener than Kazimierz. Young, trying to blend in nicely with others, and mostly confused about all the difficult situations around them. However, things are not so simple: Wace is also a natural-born talent for combat and diffusing dangerous situations, as they have already shown in one infamous incident, where they took care of three gangsters during a negotiation gone wrong.

That put Wace into the spotlight. Not only are all the other precincts now considering getting the young hero on their list but there are also people who want to put them down just to show they can. Wace probably does not realise yet what kind of trouble they are in.
